Serotonin and its function

Serotonin is also known as feel good hormone and plays a huge role in dipression. When you are feeling depressed, your serotonin levels drop dramatically which causes many anxiety disorders such the symptoms of depression when this occurs. The brain cells that produce these neurotransmitters can be reduced by stress including low oxygen to certain parts like amygdala and hippocampus due them they're over stimulated through lack or desensitization during emotional experiences (such pain). In turn allowing yourself to have less cortisol from stressful situations may not only reduce any increase in cravings but it will hopefully decrease appetite too because an increased amount would mean more energy for fat burning so on & off again throughout the day/week(s)..
